Nuri Hazzard's "Round + Round" Release

If anyone can get Shavonne Taisha into a music video - you know it has to be Nuri Hazzard. I met Nuri on the set of a MLNNNYC interview taking place at Rubbertrack studios. A jittery , open, sweet caring Nuri was in studio session as I sat filming in the waiting area. We spoke briefly, before packing up my equipment and heading home. Months went by and running into Nuri Hazzard became a regular thing. Be that in "the streets," on the train, events, or just asking him questions in regards to his social media marketing- our friendship grew.

When Nuri Hazzard contacted me in regards to finding models for his video, it was a breeze. "Ofcourse bro, I got you." Was all he needed to hear, and I was sending over profiles of suggested beauties and underground Instagram, "It girls." After a few emails, and confirmations Nuri was ready to shoot but he still hadn't found a character. "Bro listen if need be, I'll contribute , your video will be perfect." And that it was. Nuri Hazzard's charm is a delightful treat in a city filled with cold hearts, and heavy crowns he stands tall and proud. His smile and energy brings forth much love in atmosphere's that normally wouldn't recognize it.

Whether working with kids, producing incredible music, or acting Nuri supersedes the average performing artist. He is a triple threat! Nuri is not only willing to run, jump, skip, or kick but he is willing to put it all on the line for his craft! I watched this man dive in between cars, push through crowds, jump staircases just for a few seconds broll! This man is genius! His music is relatable and reminds of that one love keeps you in a vicous cycle.

Songs like "Come On" and "Round + Round" are underground classics that cannot be forgotten. His vision is what will last while over's struggle to make "radio hits."
